Lesser known in the USA than Irish music, Welsh music is harp-based and therefore lends itself to greater harmony and variation. The earthen mounds in Welsh villages that traditionally served as makeshift stages for musicians who played community dances, twmpath ("toom-path") has also come to mean the dance itself. So it should be no surprise that this volume contains reels, jigs, hornpipes, polkas, marches and slip jigs. 103 tunes.
